Web Content Strategist

University of DaytonDayton, OH
Hybrid

About The Position

The Web Content Specialist helps communicate the University of Dayton’s distinctive stories and attributes – from faith and community to academics and experiential learning. This position is responsible for writing and arranging content (text, photos, videos, stats, etc.) on the University’s website and intranet in a way that is impactful and inspiring -- and drives user engagement. This is not a technical position; knowledge of HTML is not necessary. Rather, this position requires someone who can clearly and concisely communicate ideas, think creatively and strategically, organize content so it is meaningful and useful to our target audiences, and optimize content in light of emerging technologies like AI. In partnership with colleagues across campus, the Web Content Specialist will ensure content on UD websites aligns with the University's strategic priorities, helps drive admissions efforts, engages alumni, encourages philanthropy, supports brand messaging and informs the campus community. This position will also identify ways to streamline web content and assist in executing the University's overall digital marketing strategy. Inclusion and belonging are among the core values of the Division of University Marketing and Communications. We aim to authentically and intentionally represent all forms of diversity in the UD community in our marketing and communications.
