About The Position

Precisely is seeking a Web Content Manager to lead the strategy and execution of organic visibility and web content performance. This role requires strong expertise in SEO, AEO, and content strategy to own outcomes across search, AI answer surfaces, and the overall web content experience. The Web Content Manager will be responsible for how Precisely.com appears in search results, how content is structured to meet buyer intent at all funnel stages, and how performance is measured and improved. This position involves cross-functional collaboration with product marketing, demand generation, web teams, and technical SEO specialists. It is an individual contributor role and is 100% remote, requiring the candidate to be in the US East Coast or Central time zone. Precisely is an AI-first organization, and employees are expected to be proficient in using AI tools to enhance their work, improve output quality, and eliminate routine tasks. Candidates should be comfortable using generative AI tools, critically evaluating AI-generated content, and adopting new AI capabilities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of SEO and web content experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Proficiency with WordPress.
  • Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, Ahrefs, Brightedge, or similar SEO platforms.
  • Strong understanding of how LLMs and AI answer engines surface and cite content.
  • Solid experience with organic keyword research, search intent mapping, and understanding how AI/LLMs are reshaping search behavior.
  • Familiarity with AI search visibility platforms such as Profound or Semrush’s AI Overviews tracker.
  • Proficient with AI content generation tools, such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Co-Pilot.
  • Ability to write, review, and edit AI-generated content for brand accuracy and compliance, including providing structured inputs and prompts to optimize content for organic search performance.
  • Experience connecting SEO and AEO content performance to pipeline metrics in a B2B context.

  • Strong point of view on content quality with the ability to influence partners across product marketing, demand generation, and web.
  • Comfortable pulling and interpreting data independently using reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar.
  • Experience managing large-scale content audits, consolidations, or site migrations with measurable outcomes.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously without losing focus on quality or outcomes.
  • Familiarity with enterprise B2B buying cycles and the ability to map content to complex, multi-stakeholder journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to SEO and AEO content strategy across Precisely.com, aligning with keyword opportunities, buyer intent, and funnel stages.
  • Execute keyword research, topic mapping, and content gap analysis for both traditional search and AI-driven answer platforms.
  • Apply established frameworks for content that appears in featured snippets, People Also Ask sections, and AI-generated answers.
  • Maintain and evolve a content calendar, balancing new content production, refresh cycles, and content consolidation.
  • Own the content quality and performance of key pages on Precisely.com, including product pages, solution pages, resource center content, and high-intent landing pages.
  • Execute editorial governance standards, including metadata conventions, internal linking, and on-page optimization.
  • Regularly audit existing content and provide recommendations for updates, consolidations, or removals based on performance data.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, demand generation, web teams, and technical SEO to align content with business priorities and search performance goals.
  • Track and report on content performance across organic traffic, rankings, engagement, and AI search visibility, translating data into clear content recommendations.
