About The Position

Dealmoon EU is seeking a Web Content Editor for their Fashion & Beauty section. This role involves highlighting product discounts and selling points, sharing insights on promotions and hot products, and connecting current trends with products. The editor will be responsible for daily posts on platforms like Weibo, WeChat, and Redbook, consolidating content, photos, and videos for editing, and staying updated on new media trends and operational models. Collaboration with the team to achieve operational goals is also a key aspect of the position.

Requirements

• Familiar with fashion and beauty categories including trending brands and products
• Frequently get information from Weibo, IG, RED Wechat related platforms
• Price sensitive and can easily pick up the lightening deal and dig out the hot discount products and information as online shoppers
• Know how to use the Photo software like Photoshop, Meitu, etc.
• Strong learning and innovation ability, good at coordinating communication, following directions and company policies all while possessing a strong spirit of teamwork.
• More than 1 year of media experience publishing content on WeChat or Weibo, new media experience is preferred, and text editorial experience is preferred.
• Being well-organized and being able to take multi tasks.
• This is a position mainly for Chinese text editing, and requires Mandarin Speaking & Writing is a MUST
• Bachelor's degree or above, with more than 1 year of new media operation experience or experience as a fashion/beauty editor is preferred
• Good online sense, excellent creativity, high sensitivity to news hotspots, strong copywriting skills, good at information collection and integration
• Experience in writing or publishing and operating on self-media platforms such as Xiaohongshu and Douyin is preferred
• Proficient in using office software
• Possess certain aesthetic ability
• Good team spirit; strong execution ability, independent thinking ability; active thinking, proactive work, sense of responsibility, good at communication, and can withstand greater work pressure

Nice To Haves

• Mastering the video shooting and cutting ability will be a PLUS.
• The experience of living in the France or being familiar with European lifestyle is an advantage
• European study abroad experience (preferably Germany/France/Italy) is preferred
• Video editing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Highlight the discount and emphasize the selling points of the products
• Share ideas to the readers about the promotions and must be familiar with the Chic or hot products
• Build smooth connections with current hot topics with the products through positive & imaginative thinking
• Responsible for the daily Weibo, WeChat, Redbook moments posts update
• Consolidate related content, photos, video and other media sources for the preparation for Editing
• Keep up with the development trends of new media and actively explore new media operation models
• Work closely with the team to achieve operational goals
• Fashion, beauty product discount mining, sensitive to price, able to quickly grab the hottest discounts, and easily pick out outstanding single products from discounts
• Analyze merchant promotion methods, understand product reviews, product seeding, selling points, and star products
• Plan and promote products by combining current fashion-related hot topics, celebrities, and influencer activities
• Responsible for the daily push and update of fashion discount information on external channels such as WeChat Moments and Xiaohongshu
• Closely cooperate with the team, have some understanding of product selection logic and data review, and then achieve operational goals
