About The Position
FuntoNetwork is seeking a Web Application Penetration Tester for an upcoming project opportunity: IT Penetration Testing Services. This is a Washington, DC public-sector opportunity seeking expert vendor support for IT penetration testing services. The role involves performing authorized web application testing, validating findings, documenting exploitability, and recommending remediation. Consultants will be expected to review the role scope, project background, supporting materials, deadline, and client requirements. They will need to provide only the role-specific materials requested by FuntoNetwork, such as their resume, cover letter, work samples, technical notes, estimates, or availability. Coordination with FuntoNetwork on the assigned consultant role and related technical work is required, along with clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Support for quality control, status updates, and readiness for the assigned portion of the work is also expected.
