Role overview: Web Application Engineer contributes to the development, maintenance, and evolution of web-based interfaces used within an existing Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) platform. The role focuses on operator and engineering applications, with work spanning frontend development, backend integration, and K8S-based development environments. This role focuses on the development, maintenance, and evolution of web-based interfaces for an existing Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) platform. The position includes work across the stack, with emphasis on Angular frontend development, Java-based services, backend integration, and support for Kubernetes-based development environments.

Requirements

• Strong Angular experience
• Strong Java experience
• 10 years of experience
• Professional English

Nice To Haves

• Experience with web application development in operational or industrial environments
• Experience integrating with Websocket, gRPC, or other real-time/service-based backend interfaces
• Experience working on existing or legacy platforms
• Familiarity with Kubernetes-based development environments
• Ability to work autonomously

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance ATS HMI features such as operator views, alarms, dashboards, and control workflows
• Work on an existing ATS platform, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and functional evolution
• Contribute across the stack where needed, including Angular frontend and Java-based services
• Integrate real-time and service-based data from backend systems
• Support local and Kubernetes-based development setups used for application integration and testing
• Collaborate with system, testing, and infrastructure teams
• Help ensure performance, usability, and reliability of mission-critical interfaces
