About The Position

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking a Web Application Administrator to support their customer in Dahlgren, VA. The role involves providing application integration support to the Cloud Engineering Tools environment. The selected applicant will be responsible for configuring and maintaining web applications across Windows and Linux systems, supporting application deployments, configuring IIS environments, and troubleshooting issues across various platforms including SharePoint, IIS, SQL, OS, and Network. The position also requires support and configuration of Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket, Build Servers, and Release Management servers, as well as maintaining automation/scripting via Powershell and SCCM. Additionally, the role includes implementing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, security access policies, and automated provisioning. The applicant will participate in an on-call support rotation, take ownership of escalated problem resolution, and ensure configuration control procedures are followed. Installation, configuration, and maintenance of software platforms such as UNICOM/IBM Rational/Citrix are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience in Supporting Tier 2 and Tier 3 Web Applications.
  • Outstanding Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customer.
  • 1-2 years of System Admin experience in Windows and/or Linux environments.
  • Experience with Helpdesk Ticketing Systems, specifically Jira Service Environment.
  • Ensure configuration control procedures are followed for all work activities.
  • Troubleshoot issues across multiple environments to include On-premises and Government Cloud environments.
  • A DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (Security+ CE or equivalent) or Level 3 (CASP, CISSP, or equivalent) and AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification are required.
  • A DoD INTERIM SECRET security clearance is required to start.
  • Applicant must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Top Secret clearance is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Power BI and SSRS preferred.
  • Experience with disaster recovery and Continuity of Operations (COOP)
  • Experience with configuration and implementation of Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain web applications across multiple systems, to include Windows and Linux
  • Provide Application Integration support for COTS and GOTS applications in Windows and Linux based environments.
  • Support web application deployments via VS Release Management/Azure Devops and Git/Bitbucket.
  • Configure IIS environments for web application and software hybrid environments
  • Troubleshoot issues across multiple environments to include SharePoint / IIS / SQL / OS / Network.
  • Support and configure Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket, Build Servers, and Release Management servers.
  • Maintain automation/scripting via Powershell and SCCM.
  • Implement and maintain cloud based infrastructure, security access policies, and automated provisioning.
