This position is open for fresh Ohio graduates with web accessibility analysis experience. The role involves analyzing, determining, and documenting functional requirements related to the accessibility of websites and related solutions. The analyst will define and align business and technical requirements for accessibility, conduct impact analyses of business requirements on customer-facing applications and websites, and gather/interpret user and legal accessibility requirements into design specifications. Responsibilities include participating in or leading the design of customer-facing websites and applications, reviewing and editing website code for accessibility, and leading testing to ensure accessibility. The role also requires communicating status updates, following quality standards, and working effectively in a team environment. The analyst will act as the functional expert on accessibility for websites and applications within the Department of Neighborhoods, providing expertise in business processes supported by web hosting platforms and related applications. Additionally, they will provide expertise for defining the functional architecture of websites and customer-facing applications, plan and develop user interface strategy in alignment with accessibility requirements, and identify/track issues, risks, and action items. The analyst will also determine time estimates and schedules for their work and resolve issues in a timely manner.
