About The Position

Utah Community Action is looking for a strategic, people-centered Weatherization Director to lead a high-impact program that helps low-income households reduce energy costs while improving the efficiency, health, and safety of their homes. This role leads programs that lower energy costs, improve home safety, and create pathways to meaningful careers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three years of managerial experience
  • A valid driver's license
  • Experience with weatherization or a similar program
  • Budget development and monitoring

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily Weatherization Program operations, projects, budgets, contracts, and staff while meeting Department of Energy and State Office requirements.
  • Guide three coordinator teams through coaching, accountability, performance management, and consistent communication.
  • Monitor production, quality, compliance, client satisfaction, and program outcomes; turn data into action and celebrate results.
  • Build a workforce-development talent pipeline through employer partnerships, trade-based training, apprenticeships, and connections to employment.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex issues and strengthen collaboration with community professionals and organizations.
