Weatherization Auditor
About The Position
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to lead audits, guide contractors, and help families live in safer, more comfortable spaces. If you have experience with weatherization and residential construction, strong communication skills, and a commitment to sustainability, apply now to help us make a positive impact in our communities! The NeighborImpact Weatherization Program delivers energy-saving repairs, improvements, and items to clients in Crook, Deschutes, Hood River, Jefferson, Sherman and Wasco Counties as well as the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. Typically, the program serves 100 low-income households each year. Additionally, the program offers Energy Education workshops that are open to the entire community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or four years of relevant experience
- Current certification in Quality Control Inspection (QCI)
- Detailed knowledge of home weatherization process and residential construction standards
- Experience with residential construction codes, construction cost estimating and construction project management
- Position requires regular travel in agency vehicle within service area
- Out of area travel will be required for training/educational purposes
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of current auto insurance
- Access to reliable transportation
- Satisfactory criminal background check
- Satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)
Nice To Haves
- Spanish/English bilingual
- Lead Paint Inspector/Risk Assessor certification
- Demonstrated REM/Design computerized audit tool skills
- Familiarity with Federal and State weatherization regulations
Responsibilities
