Leidos currently has an opening for Weapons and Tactics Analyst located at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. This position is part of a large Military Intelligence Program supporting the USAF Air Combat Command (ACC) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Note : This is a contingent job posting for vacancies as they arise within the program. Primary Responsibilities. Develops, coordinates, and implements techniques and procedures (TTP); support the development and update of Air Force Instructions, exercise designed learning objectives. The successful applicant must possess a thorough understanding of Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) operations, AF Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) policy, guidance and operations, and Intelligence Community Directive. The applicant will be a wing-level advocate at Weapons and Tactics (WEPTAC) events and collaborate best practices and initiatives with internal / external AF DCGS stakeholders. The applicant must possess a general understanding of systems integration, information exchanges and applications at AF DCGS and Air Operations Center operating levels. They will help align training and exercise designed learning objectives (DLO) with operational mission initiatives; participate in Headquarters Air Combat Command-led exercise planning and execution; and capture lessons learned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree and 8 years of experience or a Masters and 6 years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience / familiarity with Jira / Confluence
  • Must have a current TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • The successful applicant must possess a thorough understanding of Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) operations, AF Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) policy, guidance and operations, and Intelligence Community Directive.
  • The applicant must possess a general understanding of systems integration, information exchanges and applications at AF DCGS and Air Operations Center operating levels.
