About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Weapons and Tactics Analyst (SME) to join a team providing tactical support. This role serves as the lead tactical authority for Air Force multi-domain operations with a focus on Electronic Warfare (EW) integration. Provides expert-level guidance on tactics development, mission planning, and threat assessment, leveraging graduate-level Weapons Instructor Course (WIC) training and advanced operational certifications. Acts as the primary advisor to commanders and joint mission planners on the employment of Air Force weapon systems, tactical data links, and sensor integration to achieve mission success in high-threat environments. This position supports the Air Force Weapons effort at Robins AFB, GA. This position requires a highly motivated individual with weapons and tactics experience, duties will include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor's Degree in an applicable discipline.
  • WIC graduate (any platform or mission area).
  • 10 years of applicable experience in tactical data links, mission planning tools, and EW system employment.
  • Multiple combat deployments and participation in major joint exercises.
  • Recognized expert in EW integration, threat analysis, and advanced tactical planning.
  • Expert proficiency in mission planning systems, tactical data links, and EW systems employment.
  • Demonstrated mastery in developing multi-domain tactics for weapon systems and sensors.
  • Strong leadership and instruction skills for mentoring future tacticians.
  • Advanced certifications in tactics or operational planning (e.g., Air Force Advanced Tactical Leadership Course).
  • Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, validation, and refinement of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) in accordance with AFTTP 3-1 and 3-3 standards.
  • Direct advanced mission planning using associated geospatial targeting systems.
  • Serve as the primary SME for Air Force Tactical Data Links (Link-16, JTIDS) integration across air-to-air, air-to-ground, and multi-domain mission sets.
  • Conduct high-level threat assessments, adversary capability analysis, and EW vulnerability studies to inform operational planning.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in Red Flag, Green Flag, and other joint/coalition exercises, as well as real-world combat operations.
  • Mentor senior and mid-level tactics professionals, providing instruction, evaluation, and mission readiness certification.
