The Wealth Planning Associate plays a key role in supporting advisors and delivering comprehensive financial planning to clients. This position is designed for individuals who are looking to deepen their planning expertise while developing client relationship and advisory skills within a collaborative team environment. Working closely with advisors and the Wealth Planning Team, this role focuses on financial plan development, client meeting support, planning analysis, and ongoing client service.

  • Ability to learn CRM and firm-specific technology platforms
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a wealth management or financial services role
  • Series 7 and Series 66 required (may be obtained within the first six months of employment)
  • CFP® in progress or recently completed
  • Insurance licenses required (Life, Health, Fixed and Variable Annuities) and may be obtained on the job
  • Additional designations and certifications may be required

Responsibilities

  • Assist advisors in developing comprehensive financial plans
  • Research and prepare planning strategies related to tax, estate, insurance, and investment planning
  • Participate in client meetings, including note-taking, planning discussions, and follow-up actions
  • Support advisors in complex planning and client situations
  • Create client review materials and service deliverables
  • Prepare analyses and recommendations for client review meetings
  • Utilize financial planning software to model scenarios and evaluate outcomes
  • Support ongoing client needs through planning updates and service coordination
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and advisor efficiency
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain confidentiality of client financial and personal information
