About The Position

Family Advisory and Trusts provides sophisticated planning advice to clients on a wide range of advisory topics, including: wealth structuring for HNW and UHNW individuals, investors, and business owners; estate planning; financial planning; income tax planning for founders, owners, and executives; family legacy planning, including business succession, family dynamics, and family office advisory; next gen; and philanthropy advisory and charitable giving. We are highly collaborative, client-obsessed, and enjoy working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment to build the private bank of the future. The Wealth Planning Associate supports the Head of Family Advisory and Trusts and senior wealth planners in the delivery of holistic planning solutions to the bank’s most important clients. This role is execution focused and developmental, offering exposure to sophisticated planning concepts while emphasizing preparation, analysis, and client support rather than primary advisory responsibility.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and professionally
  • Experience supporting client relationships in private banking, wealth management, multifamily office, or a similar environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Progress toward CFP®, CPA, or similar designation preferred but not required
  • Exposure to HNW or UHNW clients a plus
  • Familiarity with estate planning concepts and software tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing planning analyses related to estate planning, wealth transfer, tax awareness, and family planning strategies.
  • Help gather client information, organize data, utilize planning software and tools, and support preparation of planning presentations and recommendations.
  • Participate in client meetings alongside senior support discussion of planning concepts.
  • Assist with meeting follow‑ups, documentation, and ongoing client service coordination.
  • Partner with investment, insurance, fiduciary, and lending teams to help coordinate planning inputs and execution steps.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within CRM and planning tools.
  • Build foundational knowledge of wealth planning topics through hands‑on experience, mentorship, and continuing education.
  • Stay current on planning best practices, regulatory considerations, and internal processes
  • Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings.
  • Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
