This EGP Trainee position is a training program designed to develop and prepare candidates to service FA Teams' client base. The Trainee role allows the EGP Specialist to become fully licensed and obtain appropriate designations before transitioning to the full EGP Specialist role. This position involves marketing and sales development, implementing and executing the Elite Growth Practice, with specific accountabilities varying by team practice. Performance is measured by the FA or FA team through specific goals, metrics, and behaviors related to the EGP model. The Elite Growth Practice (EGP) Wealth Planner position can be filled at Trainee, Specialist, or Senior level based on experience and team needs. The Trainee is a non-exempt position for individuals lacking required security licenses and/or designations, allowing them to become fully licensed and achieve necessary designations. If Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) licenses and an approved designation are not held, they must be obtained within a specified timeframe to be eligible for the Specialist position. The EGP Wealth Planner works with Financial Advisor (FA) teams to provide comprehensive financial planning solutions, including identifying strategic investment opportunities, driving financial planning through data analysis, and fostering internal relationships. Key knowledge areas include Estate and Gift Taxes, Philanthropy, Trust Structures, Insurance, Income Tax Planning, Investment Management, and a comprehensive understanding of the bank's solutions, platforms, and initiatives. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, meaning employees engaged in residential mortgage loan originations must register with the federal registry system and maintain good standing, including submitting to a background check. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may lead to disciplinary action up to termination.
