About The Position

Join the Independent Bank team as a Wealth Management Sales Assistant to support our Wealth Advisors and deliver an exceptional client experience, supporting our mission of, " Inspiring financial independence today, with tomorrow in mind ." In this role, you’ll be a primary point of contact for clients, handling account servicing, documentation, meeting coordination, and daily inquiries with accuracy and professionalism. You’ll help onboard new relationships, process account maintenance requests, prepare meeting materials, and support follow-up activities while helping ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in financial services, banking, wealth management, or a client service role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and client relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service and support to wealth management clients and prospects.
  • Assist with new account openings, account maintenance, transfers, and client documentation.
  • Coordinate client meetings, prepare meeting materials, and manage follow-up activities.
  • Respond to client inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and firm requirements.
  • Support Wealth Advisors with administrative, operational, and relationship management activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve client issues and facilitate transactions.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance the client experience and operational efficiency.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
