About The Position

Plante Moran is seeking a qualified intern to join their marketing team. The intern will work with the Wealth Management Marketing team to gain hands-on experience with content marketing, demand creation, and digital events marketing within a professional services firm for their wealth management practice. The role involves advancing content creation and publishing, assisting with Wealth Management events (virtual or otherwise), updating and posting content to the website and social media, developing ads for campaigns and events, conducting market research, and assisting in the development of presentations and other collateral for new business development. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Completion of three years of study in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0)
  • Moderate degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to follow instruction and work as a team player
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of and interest in content marketing and social media
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, with the exception of qualified candidates who are bilingual in either Japanese and English or Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

  • Help to advance our content creation and publishing
  • Helping with Wealth Management events (virtual or otherwise)
  • Assist with updates and content posting to our website and for social media
  • Help to develop ads for supported campaigns and events
  • Conduct research on market segments, prospects, competitors or issues as requested in support of new business pursuits, marketing content development, and marketing strategy development
  • Assist in developing presentations, meeting books, capabilities documents, and other collateral used in new business development
  • Other duties as assigned
