About The Position

As one of our Wealth Management Consultants, you’ll lead sales initiatives in the Wirehouse Channel segment, identifying firm and firm representative’s needs and coordinate efforts to serve those needs. You’ll manage American Funds Distributions presence, relationships, and business results with key Wirehouse firms. You excel at delivering motivational and informative presentations. You’re motivated by setting goals and measuring your performance against them.

Requirements

Proven track record in third-party distribution.
Broad knowledge of the mutual fund, SMA, ETF and CIT business and sales cultures.
Demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships.
Proven track record and deep technical knowledge of portfolio construction.
Ability to leverage technologies to create custom analysis (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.).
Well-versed in synthesizing information and presenting it in a distilled manner.
One or more of the following designations: Series 7, 66, and/or CIMA, and CFA.
