The Wealth Management Advisor partners with affluent clients to identify their financial goals, analyze their financial circumstances, and develop recommendations to help them pursue well-defined financial objectives. Advisors deepen relationships with an established client base and grow their practices organically through referrals, delivering financial solutions that support clients’ retirement and broader financial goals. The role involves communicating complex financial solutions, building lasting client relationships, and developing and implementing appropriate financial solutions. All required licenses must be obtained within 120 days of the start date. TIAA seeks advisors who are curious and able to uncover client needs; give and receive constructive feedback; collaborate to achieve shared goals; manage time and resources effectively; pursue growth with an entrepreneurial mindset; apply investment and planning knowledge to recommend solutions tailored to each client; and learn from mistakes while working in an empowered, accountable environment. The position is based in a collaborative in-office environment. TIAA describes its culture as focused on client service, integrity, collaboration, learning, and development. The company offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package, including a retirement program and health, wellness, and work-life offerings. Advisors may participate in variable compensation based on external sales, book of business, and balanced performance metrics. If an advisor does not hold the CFP or CFA certification, TIAA will cover the cost of obtaining one and increase base salary upon successful completion.
