About The Position

Zions Wealth Management is a specialized division within Zions Bancorporation that provides comprehensive financial services to affluent, high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses. These services encompass personalized investment strategies, financial planning, estate and tax planning, succession planning, and risk management. The core objective of the wealth management group is to assist clients in growing and preserving their wealth, offering expert guidance through complex financial situations to achieve long-term financial goals. Wealth Management is a key strategic focus and growth area for Zions Bancorporation, which operates across eight affiliate banks in the Western United States. The company is seeking a dedicated Wealth Advisor to join its team of bank partners in the Boise, ID area. This role is supported by a cohesive group of banking professionals, including Retail Bankers, Community/Business Bankers, Private Bankers, Commercial Bankers, Investment Management Portfolio Managers, and Advanced Planning Professionals. As a Zions Wealth Advisor, the primary function is to establish wealth management relationships by actively cultivating and nurturing strong connections with each member of the banking team. The advisor will focus on delivering an exceptional client experience, evaluating client needs, educating them, developing tailored solutions and recommendations, and implementing investment strategies to meet the bank’s clients' needs. Additionally, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong passion for providing top-tier client experience in a collaborative team setting, be skilled in a client-centric consulting process starting with discovery and financial planning, possess an extensive understanding of various investment, insurance, and banking strategies, and exhibit exceptional communication, relationship management, and sales skills. The advisor must also be adept at evaluating, advising, and effectively supporting the bank’s clients.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 4 years of directly related experience
  • Required licensing: FINRA Series 7 & 66 (65/63), life and health insurance
  • Exhibit proficiency in using computers and relevant software
  • Display excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Showcase exceptional analytical and presentation skills
  • Exhibit a track record of building and managing high net worth client relationships, with a proven history of successfully exceeding sales targets
  • Process a keen understanding of financial planning

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years directly related experience
  • A CFP® certification is highly preferred
  • Experience with financial planning software preferred with the ability to analyze and present complex financial modeling
