About The Position

Hightower is seeking an experienced Wealth Advisor who is a natural relationship builder with strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, evolving organization, is self-motivated, adept at managing client relationships, performs well under variable workloads, and is passionate about positively impacting clients' lives. This role involves reporting to the Managing Director.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a licensed financial services professional
• Bachelor's degree required
• Clean U4 Compliance Record
• CFP® certification or the ability to attain certification within 12 months
• Excellent quantitative, verbal, and written communication skills—can provide a concise investment thesis for a range of audiences (from portfolio manager to unsophisticated client)
• Knowledgeable in personal tax, asset management, financial planning, insurance, estate, and retirement planning
• Demonstrate analytical skills
• Team-oriented individual to support a growing advisory practice
• Experience with eMoney, Salesforce, and Tamarac
• Securities representative licenses (Series 65 or 66) - FINRA
• Must be accepted into the SAN (Schwab Advisor Network) through successful background check
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand existing client relationships, leading a first-class onboarding experience for new client relationships
• Develop and implement customized financial plans
• Conduct in-person portfolio and planning reviews
• Prepare investment proposals
• Collaborate with our referral partners
• Support our business development efforts
• Follow and have knowledge of regulatory requirements
