WAX SPECIALIST
About The Position
As a Wax Specialist at European Wax Center, you deliver waxing services and help create a positive, confidence-boosting experience for guests. The position is listed as part-time or full-time and is based in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. Work is primarily indoors in a moderate, controlled temperature environment. The schedule may include any shift from Monday through Sunday. The role requires working effectively in stressful environments, adapting to changing activity, communicating with guests and coworkers, and accepting constructive feedback. Duties and work requirements may change according to business needs.
Requirements
- Valid state Esthetician or Cosmetology license.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for clear, effective guest consultations.
- Strong attention to detail for precise and efficient waxing services.
- Self-motivated and process-focused.
- Ability to adapt to varying guest preferences and comfort levels.
- Knowledge of skincare and waxing products and ability to recommend products based on guest needs.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adherence to state sanitation and licensing requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in stressful environments and accept constructive feedback.
- Ability to stand or sit, walk, and maneuver between tasks; occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Perform waxing services according to Artemis Wax and European Wax Center standards, patterns, protocols, and techniques.
- Build a book of business and retain guests by using rebooking scripts and delivering a high-quality guest experience.
- Educate guests about European Wax Center products to support their experience and results.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards in waxing suites.
- Maintain Wax Specialist key performance indicators according to brand standards.
- Contribute to a positive and professional work environment while upholding Artemis Wax Core Values.
- Train and model behaviors and processes established by European Wax Center.
- Adapt to changes in business activity and communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and management.
