About The Position

The purpose of DC Security is to protect individuals, organizations, and systems from threats and risks that could cause harm, damage, or loss. Security measures are implemented to safeguard assets, data, privacy, and physical infrastructure, ensuring their integrity, confidentiality, and availability. Requirements

• Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to lift 65 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate all facilities.
• Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with others (in-person and via electronic devices).
• Must be able to see at close and far distances.
• Must be able to lift, bend, carry, and push repetitively.
• At times, will be around private offices, needs to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
• Actively participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
• Walk DC facilities multiple times per day.
• Facilitate security checks of incoming and outgoing DC personnel.
• Ensure proper controls are in place regarding doors and any other areas of traffic.
• Help ensure a safe and secure exterior ground through daily observation.
• Ensure security of all trailers on RK property.
• Watch CCTV camera systems for occurrences of theft, productivity issues, and security policy violations.
• Review video footage of significant events and provide details to management, human resources, and/or law enforcement.
• May be required to cross-train and perform other duties.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
