About The Position

Reporting to the Supervisor – Logistics, the Waterspider will ensure that the supply of materials meet the production schedule and minimum stock levels to ensure operational and production continuity. Ability to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production requirements. Maintains strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure supply of materials meets the production requirements.

Requirements

  • MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Maintain professionalism
  • Ability to accomplish duties required effectively and efficiently
  • Keep the department Manager/Supervisor informed of daily operations
  • Ability to deal with added day to day issues and concerns
  • Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.
  • A criminal background check is required for candidates aged 18 and over.

  • Must have flexibility to work rotating shifts to accommodate production schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Replenish material and consumables to designated work stations
  • Retrieve, organize and return carts, totes and bins as required
  • Manage shortages to closure for assigned work stations
  • Maintain shortage communication and KPI boards
  • Assist material handlers when required
  • Ensure aisles are free of obstacles and debris
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
