About The Position

Crown Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking an experienced Waterproofing Superintendent to lead commercial waterproofing projects throughout the Tampa Bay area. This is a field leadership position for someone who understands waterproofing systems, can effectively manage crews and subcontractors, and knows how to keep projects moving safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction and/or waterproofing experience preferred.
  • Previous experience supervising waterproofing crews or commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial waterproofing systems, including membranes, coatings, sealants, caulking, traffic coatings, and related applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Strong leadership and crew-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and construction safety requirements.
  • Valid Florida driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • OSHA 30 or ability to complete within the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily field operations on commercial waterproofing projects.
  • Lead and supervise waterproofing crews, laborers, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and project schedules.
  • Review plans, specifications, drawings, and scopes of work.
  • Ensure installations meet manufacturer requirements, project specifications, and quality standards.
  • Monitor labor, materials, production, and job progress to help keep projects on budget.
  • Conduct jobsite inspections and address issues before they impact schedule or quality.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other trades.
  • Troubleshoot field conditions, installation issues, leaks, and design discrepancies.
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Maintain daily logs, progress reports, photos, and project documentation.
