About The Position

The Waterpark Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in lobby and common guest areas, and providing prompt and courteous service to guests. This role requires a proactive and energetic individual with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to guest satisfaction. The position is located at the DoubleTree Boston North Shore, which offers a versatile workplace with access to an indoor water park and other amenities, serving a diverse range of guests including families, business travelers, and groups.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Walk all assigned areas throughout shift; remove and replace dirty towels and service trays and glasses, empty trash receptacles.
  • Set-up and/or breakdown Pool areas on a daily basis.
  • Remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning.
  • Maintain Pool Showers, lockers and bathroom areas throughout shift.
  • Serve as barback/busser for Pool Bartenders and Pool Servers.
  • Clean all pool areas in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations.
  • Remove soiled terry and trash from the pool areas and take to the appropriate locations in the prescribed manner and retrieve clean terry.
  • Stock pool linen and supply to ensure par inventories.
  • Report any missing/found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the supervisor and/or security.
  • Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Supervisor on work priorities and provide assistance when needed.
  • Perform any other additional duties as assigned by leadership.
