About The Position

Operates a waterjet cutting machine to accurately and efficiently perform cutting jobs. This involves understanding part drawings or job instructions, cutting parts, and performing inspections. The operator will independently execute all setups, have a complete understanding of the machine control, and be capable of basic programming. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Makes parts that conform to the drawing specifications.
• Meets or exceeds job time standards as much as possible.
• Independently performs all setups and executes them efficiently.
• Troubleshoots problems with the machine control and part programs.
• Uses a forklift to load and unload material at the machine.
• Perform secondary operations such as drilling, tapping and deburring.
• Completely and accurately fills out job paperwork and inspection reports.
• Keeps the work area clean and organized.
• Maintain a positive image for the company.
• Perform miscellaneous shop duties as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
