American Systems is seeking a Waterfront Power Coordinator with a secret clearance and 8 years of experience to support the Code 226 HM&E Testing Program in Norfolk, VA. This role involves providing power coordination, interfacing with ships force, NSWCPD, ISRA, and other activities performing shipboard work to schedule the "tag-in/tag-out" of all equipment. The coordinator will ensure power is provided for the safety of workers and to support alterations being completed by maintenance activities, the shipyard, and Alteration Installation Teams (AIT). The position also requires notifying the Ship Manager Representative of delays and changes from all production entities and supporting shipboard testing with in-depth knowledge of the Shipboard WAF process and eSOMS system. The Waterfront Power Coordinator will provide daily waterfront power support and manage the schedule for all aspects of work being completed.
