About The Position

H2O Innovation is a leading company in water and wastewater treatment, specializing in innovative water technologies, services, specialty products, and contract operations. We are seeking a skilled Water Well Operator to join our team in Gulfport, MS. Our next colleague will hold a full-time & permanent position. In this role, the water well operator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operator of the water well division that is responsible for providing a continuous supply of safe drinking water for Gulfport, MS residents.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
High school diploma/GED.
At least 1-year related experience.
Knowledge of work hazards and safety precautions, including hazards that may exist in water well environment.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and it’s programs.
Ability to deal with the public on a regular basis in a professional, courteous manner.
Ability to perform physical tasks in various outdoor weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Class D Mississippi Water License preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform work duties outlined in the job description.
Help ensure compliance with all MSDH standards.
Conduct sampling required by the MSDH and other agencies.
Ensure all well and tank infrastructure is operating properly and in accordance with government standards.
Complete and submit logbooks.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
