About The Position

ASR International Corporation, with over 40 years of experience providing engineering, construction management, and technical services to the U.S. Department of Defense, is seeking a qualified Water/Wastewater Technician to support the USAF at Hurlburt Field, Florida. This position is embedded in the Operations Flight (CEO). The role provides hands-on technical support for repairs, maintenance, and construction activities involving water and wastewater infrastructure supporting Special Operations facilities. Services are performed on-site at Hurlburt Field in support of a Performance Work Statement (PWS) dated 15 June 2026. The CEO Water/Wastewater Technician will deliver high-quality, timely technical support services and deliverables. Work includes hands-on water/wastewater infrastructure support, technical assessments, safety and environmental coordination, and documentation while meeting strict performance thresholds for quality and timeliness.

Requirements

  • Minimum ten (10) years as a DoD or commercial Water or Wastewater infrastructure technician responsible for repairs or construction.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC), successfully complete NACI/SF85 background investigation (position of trust for unescorted base access and system access), and complete required Information Assurance certification.
  • No access to classified information; CUI handling only.
  • No foreign nationals permitted.
  • Strong troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license (for on-base operations).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior federal or Air Force facility water/wastewater experience.
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical support for DoD or commercial Water or Wastewater infrastructure as a technician responsible for repairs or construction.
  • Support deliverable reviews, technical assessments, and documentation for operations and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with facility managers and receive safety briefs on work-area hazards.
  • Maintain files, organize documentation, and provide administrative support.
  • Deliver monthly status reports and support Quality Control Plan requirements.
  • Use government ADP systems and maintain data repositories while handling only CUI-level information.
  • Ensure all work avoids inherently governmental functions; do not make binding decisions, obligate funds, or sign contracts on behalf of the Government.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance while on duty.
  • Complete required training (Level 1 Anti-Terrorism, Information Assurance certification per DoDM 8140.03) and maintain current CAC and base access.
  • Comply with environmental, health, and safety requirements and pollution prevention practices.
