Our Water/Wastewater Practice is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of a Water Wastewater Engineer II to work in our Medford and Coos Bay, Oregon office on various water and wastewater projects providing planning, design, permitting and operations related consulting services. Projects may also include site development and general civil engineering infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • EIT registration and the ability to work towards obtaining your Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • Bachelor of Science in civil, mechanical, geotechnical, electrical, environmental, or another relevant engineering discipline
  • An interest in helping with the planning and designing of projects related to water, wastewater, storm water, and/or transportation infrastructure

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in civil engineering a plus but not required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and modeling software a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a project team from concept through construction, supporting each phase of project development.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and coworkers through professional communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to community growth, development, and improvement through high‑quality project work.
  • Expand personal knowledge and skills by engaging in a wide range of engineering assignments.
  • Collect data through research, file reviews, field observations, measurements, field testing, and other established methods; help interpret data to support project decisions.
  • Assist in preparing detailed plans and technical specifications for engineering projects.
  • Perform computations and process data using engineering software and established analytical methods.
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates to support design implementation and project budgeting.
  • Perform engineering‑related tasks such as design support, drawing preparation, and site inspections under the supervision of senior engineers.
