Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager
About The Position
HR Green is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to join their growing Water/Wastewater team in St. Paul. This role involves leading impactful infrastructure projects, expanding client relationships, mentoring engineers, and advancing leadership careers within a national practice. The Water/Wastewater practice handles projects such as raw water supply systems, water treatment and distribution systems, wastewater treatment facilities and collection systems, pump/lift stations, and rehabilitation projects. The Senior Project Manager will lead projects from concept through construction, gain visibility across multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the growth of Midwest operations. The ideal candidate will play a significant role in client strategy, project delivery, and long-term practice development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 10+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience
- Strong project management and client relationship skills
- Experience leading wastewater design and construction projects
- Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead projects on schedule and within budget from kickoff through delivery
- Manage project teams, mentor junior staff, and support professional development
- Serve as a technical resource and trusted client partner
- Support proposal development, interviews, and strategic growth initiatives
- Oversee construction administration and coordinate with contractors and field staff
- Ensure high-quality project delivery through strong QA/QC practices
