About The Position

Multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join their Little Rock team! This role involves serving as an Associate Project Manager on small-to-mid-sized projects, overseeing project deliverables, and ensuring completion. The Project Manager will assemble project teams, assign tasks, and develop/communicate project scope, schedule, and budget with clients, the team, and outside contractors. They will be the primary contact for clients, monitor project budgets, review costs, and track planned budgets to ensure projects stay within financial limits. Ensuring timely project completion by securing appropriate resources for all stages, identifying and resolving problems to prevent additional costs, and organizing/conducting regular project meetings are key responsibilities. The role also includes documenting all project deliverables, maintaining records, building/maintaining client relationships, coordinating contract negotiations, and mentoring/training junior staff. Adherence to regulations and enforcement of safety standards, as well as meeting/exceeding client expectations, are also crucial.

Requirements

  • Associates degree with equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of project experience
  • Strong understanding of water and wastewater services
  • Wastewater project experience (piping extensions/rehabilitation, new pump stations/rehabilitation, treatment plant rehabilitation for various types of treatment processes, and new treatment plant projects)
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and negotiation skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related area preferred
