About The Position
Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to their Houston team! This role involves managing water and wastewater projects, ensuring timely delivery, and providing technical guidance. The position also includes preparing proposals and assisting with business development.
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university
- 5+ years of project management and design experience
- 8+ years of consultant civil engineering experience
- PE License
- Understanding of principles of engineering
- Advanced engineering expertise
- Water and wastewater project design experience (water plants and wastewater treatment plants)
- Experience with municipal utility district and/or experience with other local municipalities
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal departments, clients, and the general public
- Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Prepare/monitor project scopes, budgets and schedules
- Deliver projects on a timely basis
- Communicate/coordinate project ideas/solutions with team
- Provide technical guidance and mentor team members
- Prepare engineering project proposals and assist with business development
- Attend client meetings
