About The Position

Mead & Hunt is a Top 100 national engineering/architecture consulting firm with a growing water/wastewater practice. As a result, we have a full-time position available for a water/wastewater project engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will serve as the lead civil/environmental engineer on water and wastewater projects, overseeing design as well as performing technical design tasks. This role will also involve assisting with drafting proposals with scope and pricing, reviewing client billings, and mentoring and providing technical guidance to staff. Travel will be required (Up to 25%).

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
At least four years of relevant experience
PE license in Florida with the ability to obtain in additional states
Strong communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Consulting experience
Experience designing water and wastewater projects, with specialization in one or more of the following project types: Large diameter pipelines, Water/wastewater treatment, Pump stations, Effluent disposal and biosolids, Stormwater
Experience with GIS, SewerCAD, WaterCAD, BioWin
Mentoring and providing technical guidance to staff
Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil3D and StormWise
Desire to grow into a project management role
