Requirements

Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
4+ years of civil engineering experience, ideally with a focus on municipal water, wastewater, recycled water, treatment, conveyance, or utility infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with water and wastewater projects, including an understanding of technical standards, permitting requirements, and regulatory compliance.
S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A practical, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to high-quality project delivery.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, plan, and design water and wastewater treatment systems that support safe, reliable, and sustainable community infrastructure.
Prepare and review construction documents, master plan reports, technical studies, specifications, calculations, and design deliverables.
Provide technical guidance, quality control, and design support to project teams while helping mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
Support project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables to keep regional projects moving efficiently.
Coordinate with clients, municipalities, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal teams on permitting, compliance, and project delivery.
Perform and/or lead construction observation, construction management, submittal reviews, RFI responses, field coordination, and site documentation.
Contribute to planning, design, and construction support for treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, storage, and related water/wastewater infrastructure.
