This position also ensures that project teams reflect and respect diversity, promoting an inclusive and supportive working environment, and drives project success by keeping a clear focus on achieving defined objectives and delivering high-quality outcomes. The role encompasses leading and nurturing a safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA, State, and Veolia Safety and Environmental Programs, and demonstrating skills in dependable project execution, maintaining high quality standards, and delivering consistent results. It requires applying ingenuity and initiative to coordinate problem resolution, manage conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines within a team environment, and serving rotational 24-hour emergency on-call as required. The Project Leader will exhibit strong leadership and mentoring skills to effectively manage resources, demonstrate effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to motivate all levels of project personnel, and evaluate employee performance. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, administering client contracts, and performing baseline client relations duties are also key aspects, with performance measured by Net Promoter Score and participation. Finally, the role holds responsibility for budget preparation, implementation of cost control measures, and full P&L and budgeting ownership for the assigned project.
