Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical job duties
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the operation of water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Monitoring equipment, pumps, meters, and system performance
- Collecting samples and recording operational data
- Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Identifying and reporting equipment issues or operational concerns
- Supporting regulatory compliance and safety initiatives
- Participating in on-the-job training and certification programs
- Responding to operational needs and working as part of a collaborative team
