About The Position

The Water/Wastewater Foreman is responsible for leading field crews while actively performing hands-on construction, maintenance, and repair work at water and wastewater treatment facilities. This role oversees daily job-site operations, ensures safety and quality standards are met, and utilizes Procore to manage field documentation, communication, and project tracking.

Requirements

  • Ability to lead crews while actively working in the field.
  • Experience using Procore for field reporting and communication.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety practices.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet DOT requirements.
  • Experience hauling tools and material trailers.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or overnight shifts as project needs require.
  • Proven experience as a Foreman or Working Foreman in water/wastewater or industrial construction.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in live water/wastewater treatment plants.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
  • Confined Space and First Aid/CPR certifications.
  • Experience coordinating shutdowns, tie-ins, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Hands-on experience in water/wastewater treatment facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a working foreman, performing hands-on water/wastewater work while leading field crews.
  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate crews performing construction, maintenance, and installation work in active water and wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and coordinate labor based on skill level and project needs.
  • Perform hands-on work including piping, pumps, valves, mechanical equipment, and system tie-ins.
  • Conduct daily job briefings, toolbox talks, and enforce safety procedures.
  • Work directly with host customers to implement LOTO, confined space, line break procedures, and obtain daily work permits.
  • Coordinate equipment, materials, and consumables with logistics teams.
  • Utilize Procore for daily reports, timekeeping, photos, and field documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records including daily reports, timesheets, and job progress updates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other team members to execute projects successfully.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
