About The Position

As a Water/Wastewater Engineer at Consor, you will play a key role in planning, designing, and delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects for municipal clients. You will evaluate system needs, develop engineering solutions, and prepare high‑quality technical work products, including design plans, reports, and technical analyses. Requirements

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 4+ years of progressive water and wastewater engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with treatment facility design, process modeling, and permitting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience managing tasks, coordinating with clients, and supporting project delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while also thriving in a team‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the planning and design of water and wastewater conveyance, treatment, and pumping systems.
  • Develop and review engineering design packages, including plans, specifications, and technical analyses.
  • Prepare engineering reports, master plans, technical memoranda, and feasibility studies.
  • Design and evaluate pipelines, pump stations, lift stations, storage tanks, and treatment facilities including hydraulic analysis and system optimization.
  • Identify and contribute to project pursuit opportunities, including proposal development and participation in project interviews.
  • Serve as a technical mentor to junior engineers, supporting skill development and quality project delivery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, client‑focused outcomes.
