Water Wastewater Engineer
About The Position
Growing firm with offices in multiple states is seeking a Senior Water Wastewater Engineer for their team in Champaign, Illinois! This role involves using technical expertise to serve as a technical resource, plan and design water and wastewater systems. Business development responsibilities include identifying and pursuing strategic targets, building and maintaining client relationships, and meeting client expectations through regular client meetings, adhering to contractual obligations, and staying current on industry trends. The engineer will ensure proposals address all client concerns, objectives, and goals, and will serve as project manager as needed, directing teams to meet budget, schedule, and quality control procedures. Quality control reviews in the area of technical expertise are also a key part of the role. Participation in professional organizations and attendance at industry-related events to promote company capabilities is expected.
Requirements
- M.S., B.S. in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or related engineering degree
- 12+ years of experience, including working collaboratively with clients and design teams
- PE License
- Established relationships in this market
- Proven project management experience delivering quality work on time and within budget
- Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
