About The Position

Ardurra is seeking an Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our staff in our Corpus Christi, TX office. Ardurra is a multidisciplinary civil engineering services firm which provides broad-based solutions tailored to the specific needs of the public and private sector. We leverage the depth of our professional and technical expertise, as well as our integrated structure, to deliver practical, innovative solutions for our clients. Our innovative water and wastewater teams provide planning, design, and engineering services for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Our work includes water distribution and transmission systems, wastewater collection systems, pipelines, pump and lift stations, treatment facilities, and other critical infrastructure. This position provides the opportunity to work on a variety of municipal water and wastewater projects, including pipelines, water distribution and wastewater collection systems, pump and lift stations, treatment facilities, and other infrastructure improvements. You will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers while developing your technical skills and gaining hands-on experience throughout the planning, design, and construction phases of projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
  • Approximately 0–1 years of experience in engineering or related fields (internship experience preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software is preferred
  • EIT certification (or ability to obtain within one year) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, distribution and collection systems, pump and lift stations, and treatment facilities.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and other project documentation.
  • Perform engineering calculations and assist with hydraulic analysis and modeling.
  • Assist with preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Perform field investigations, data collection, site visits, and construction observations.
  • Support permitting and regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines throughout project development.
  • Assist with construction-phase services, including review of submittals and responses to contractor questions.
  • Support project teams in delivering high-quality projects for municipal clients.
