About The Position

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer with 4 – 10 years of experience to join their team in Las Cruces or El Paso. The role will primarily focus on water/wastewater projects, including supply, conveyance, treatment, and disposal. The company is looking for a self-motivated individual who is eager to lead and grow professionally within a fast-paced team environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on water/wastewater projects and collaborate with other sectors' projects. Requirements

BS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
4-10 years of experience
TX PE License or the ability to obtain a license in 6-months
Excellent work ethic and a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles.

Nice To Haves

MS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
Experience with plan production
Familiarity with the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD MEP3d, AutoCAD Plant3d, or revit
Experience with hydraulic and environmental calculations as well as technical report writing
Experience with hydraulic modeling utilizing WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater, or InfoSewer

Responsibilities

Interact well with other team members within the Wilson & Company team.
Contact and visit clients for business development / marketing, including attendance at local industry conferences and seminars.
Manage and develop business client relationships.
Manage a wide range of water and wastewater projects to meet client schedules and budgets.
Mentor engineers in training and design staff in project execution and client expectations.
