Wendel is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Entry Level Water / Wastewater Engineer to join our growing Water/Wastewater Team out of our Williamsville, NY headquarters. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or a related field and up to 3 years of experience is required.
  • Excellent PC skills. Microsoft Office software experience required.
  • A team-player who is highly organized, has strong time-management skills, and desire to learn and grow within the Water/Wastewater industry.
  • Ability to Travel to client sites or work on-site if needed.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) or strong desire to obtain EIT.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with process modeling software (WaterCAD, BioWin), BIM Software (Civil 3D & REVIT), water/wastewater treatment processes, gravity and pressure hydraulics, and construction inspection is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work on infrastructure projects and assist with the process planning, design, and construction administration of water and wastewater projects.
  • Provide support to technical leads and project managers for medium to large scale design and construction projects including distribution system and collection system improvements as well as water and wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation work.
