We are hiring a Water/Wastewater Engineer-EIT to perform engineering work under supervision requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out a sequence of related water/wastewater engineering tasks such as the preparation of plans, designs, calculations, and reports in accordance with established codes and standards. Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to creatively apply technical knowledge.
• Attention to detail, positive attitude, desire to support team success, and ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering with an emphasis on Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field
• EIT Certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Use knowledge of general concepts of relevant engineering elements including the analysis and design of water supply, distribution and treatment systems, sewerage networks, and wastewater treatment systems.
• Perform basic calculations to analyze and design water/wastewater system conveyance and treatment components.
• Assist team in preparing water/wastewater designs, drawings, specifications, presentations, and reports, and gather information to support design decisions.
• Assist in basic interpretation and verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices.
• Work with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer.
• Assist the team in providing support services during construction that can include submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications.
• Perform field work related to design site visits and construction observation activities as required.
