This position is responsible for engineering design, applying general engineering principles and practices to interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate assignments.

Requirements

• Knowledge of general engineering principles and practices
• Ability to interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments
• Eligibility for TN visa classification (Immigration sponsorship is not available for other visa types, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification)

Responsibilities

• Assist with alternative studies
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to complete a task
• Perform design computations
• Assist in designing projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools
• Assist with developing the project quantities for construction cost estimate
• Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction
• Perform other related duties as assigned
