Requirements
- Ability to safely operate large vehicles in active work zones
- Strong awareness of surroundings and commitment to safety
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing site needs
- Basic understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Responsibilities
- Operate water truck to control dust on haul roads and work areas
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of vehicle
- Safely navigate plant site and communicate with team members
- Monitor water levels and refill as needed throughout the shift
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic guidelines on site
