NON CDL Water Truck Driver / Construction Laborer

This full-time position is responsible for operating articulated and/or water truck, and performing various related labor duties around the job-site, as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in construction
- at least 6 months truck driving experience
- Job Knowledge
- Ability to attain certifications as required
- Fit for Duty
Responsibilities
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; calling for repairs.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.
- Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
- Prepares work by studying and clarifying instructions and diagrams; calculating requirements; gathering supplies.
- Coordinate machine actions with other activities, position or move loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members
- Safely fill water truck at hydrant or on-site filling station and dispense water on roadway/surfaces for dust suppression, road cleaning, or compaction efforts.
- Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- This position is also responsible for tasks involving physical labor at construction sites and assisting other workers
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials with appropriate training provided.
- Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
- Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools while distributing them to the appropriate locations
