About The Position

Southland Holdings is seeking experienced CDL Class A Truck Drivers with a Tanker Endorsement for a full-time position in Vinton, LA. This role involves the safe operation of a water truck, ensuring product quality, and adhering to all safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

Class A - CDL License
Ability to pass DOT drug screen and DOT physical.
3 plus years of CDL Driver experience
Tanker Endorsement

Responsibilities

Operate truck safely and knowledgeably.
Ensure the quality of product delivered.
Follow all safety and environmental procedures.
Assist other drivers as necessary and report delays/problems to dispatcher.
Deliver product in a timely and safe manner, following designated routes to and from job sites.
Maintain the safe and mechanical operation of the truck.
Operate all functions of tack oil or prime delivery, including truck maintenance after each delivery and preparation for the next day's operation.
Adhere to all DOT rules and regulations.
Follow all rules and regulations as outlined by the Safety Department.
Wear personal protective equipment as required.
