About The Position

We are seeking motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team as a Water Treatment Technician. In this role, you will install and operate water treatment systems with capacities up to 4,000 gallons per minute (gpm) and address various contaminants such as turbidity, pH, hydrocarbons, metals, and nutrients.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test, background check and have a satisfactory motor vehicle record.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical aptitude or experience with lab instrumentation.
  • Valid forklift operator certification (training may be provided if not certified).

Responsibilities

  • Install and operate water treatment systems with capacities up to 4,000 gallons per minute (gpm).
  • Address various contaminants such as turbidity, pH, hydrocarbons, metals, and nutrients.
  • Set up and manage water treatment systems, ensuring they function effectively.
  • Safely operate forklifts to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites, warehouses, and storage areas.
  • Perform tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Frequently travel within Washington and across the US to different job sites.
  • Learn and apply water quality instrumentation and sampling techniques.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including Jobsite Hazard Analysis, Water Quality Data Logs, Daily Work Orders, and Delivery Tickets.
  • Exhibit mechanical skills or familiarity with lab instrumentation.
  • Commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week (3 days or more) and be flexible with work hours, including nights and weekends.
