Xylem is looking for a Water Treatment Field Service Technician to report to our Alpharetta, GA branch and support our customers throughout the surrounding area by performing water treatment services, water quality testing, sampling, and equipment support.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 2–5 years of experience in water treatment, water quality testing, environmental sampling, industrial or commercial process water systems, or a related field.
  • Experience collecting water samples, performing field testing, maintaining treatment programs, or interpreting water quality data is preferred.
  • Familiarity with water chemistry, field testing equipment, sampling procedures, and recordkeeping is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to utilize smart devices for documenting service activities and test results.
  • Ability to work in a high customer-facing position.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately collect, document, and communicate water quality information.
  • Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in water treatment, environmental services, laboratory sampling, industrial water systems, or related technical field work is especially encouraged.
  • Experience collecting water samples, performing field testing, maintaining treatment programs, or interpreting water quality data is preferred.
  • Familiarity with water chemistry, field testing equipment, sampling procedures, and recordkeeping is preferred.
